CoGe 1.4.1 released

I'm proud to announce the hot and  new CoGe 1.4.1 release, just before the World's End - and Christmas, for sure! :) This new version is not just a minor, bug-fix release, but it contains some handy new features as well.

Colour type controls are revisited

For color type inputs CoGe just generates a color well, you can click on it, and the OSX standard colour picker panel pops up where you can select the desired colour, right? As an addition in 1.4.1, RGBA sliders are automagically generated for colour type inputs as well. Now you can apply crazy automations on colours, yay!

MIDI/OSC Automap on matrixes

Manually MIDI/OSC mapping of matrixes - bunch of buttons - is a very boring and time-waste process. You know, if you wanna MIDI map all the Media Slots on a ClipSynth for example. Do you ever feel it could be better? Then you will be happy, here is the solution! In CoGe 1.4.1, you just need to hold down the Shift key when you MIDI/OSC map a matrix! CoGe will iterate the CC/Note/OSC control number to make things faster - that is what Automap is in the very new CoGe! Remember, you can use this function with MIDI and OSC, but just on matrixes: Media Slots, Media Bank, Sequencer Trigger State, Layer Selectors and with every other matrixes.

To make it working, just follow this steps:

  1. Go to MIDI/OSC Map Edit mode
  2. Press and hold down the Shift key
  3. Press a button on your MIDI controller or OSC client
  4. See the magic :)

Better inspect on MIDI/OSC assignments

Some UI elements on CoGe just too small to display the MIDI/OSC assignment on them - this mostly an issue with long OSC messages, but here is the cure! When you are on MIDI/OSC map editing mode, a tiny popup will show you the assignment info when you select an item. Helpful in many cases, isn't it? ## Other misc changes

RamDisk state will be restored with a project load,  CoGeMoviePlayer's performance increased, from now you can collapse and expand Gadgets by double-clicking on their titlebars, better project loading ecosystem and a bunch of fixes. ##  That's all, its time to grab CoGe 1.4.1!
